About:

Competition is organized by UNLIMITED dance school and it is situated in Levice, Slovak Republic. The tradition of this competition is more than 10 years and it is very famous and wanted by Slovak dancers. In november 2022 there was the first year of INTERNATIONAL edition and it was opened for all nations (9 countries were participating).

We can help with taxi, which will pick you up at the airport. We can help you also to book small/big bus from the airport.

Accommodation:

• There is plenty of nice hotels and apartments in Levice, which provide also breakfast. The hall is very close to center of city, you can use taxi for approximately 2-3 Euros to get from your accommodation to the hall.
• We can arrange cheap accommodation for you and your team in students home - it is around 15 EUR/night, just let us know - we will send you everything about it. BUT the space is limited, so if you are sure in accommodation, contact us asap.
• Also we can arrange you some hotels in Levice with the better price, apartments, cheaper accommodation a few kilometers from Levice. FEEL FREE TO CONTACT US BY EMAIL.

RULES

THE COMPETITION FOLLOWS IDO RULES in level INTERNATIONAL. PLEASE check all details about competing in lower levels in section "levels".

Rules for discipline ALL IN BLACK DISCO DANCE - All dancers of all age divisions and all levels are dancing together and competing together. Age does not matter, the winner is only one, no matter how old or young the dancer is :) COSTUME for this discipline has only ONE RULE - colour BLACK. So rhinestones, applications, feathers etc. are ALLOWED in black colour. The dancers are dancing by IDO RULES - 30 seconds, 1 min and 1 min.

Rules for NEW discipline ALL IN BLACK DISCO SLOW - All dancers of all age divisions and all levels are dancing together and competing together. Age does not matter, the winner is only one, no matter how old or young the dancer is :) COSTUME for this discipline has only ONE RULE - colour BLACK. So rhinestones, applications, feathers etc. are ALLOWED in black colour. The dancers are dancing by IDO RULES - 30 seconds, 1 min and 30 seconds.

Start fee:

5 euro per dancer in formation discipline

10 euro per dancer in small group discipline

AGE DIVISIONS

The competition follows IDO rules.

LEVELS

STAR - for beginners

In this level can be the dance floor (24m x 12m) splitted in two halfs, so the dancers are using the dance floor 12m x 12m.

The dancers are dancing in 2 big heats.

* The first big heat is 1 min, maximum 5 dancers on the dance floor.

* Second big heat is 1 min, max 15 dancers on the dance floor.

* In the semifinal round in the first big heat there are maximum 4 dancers on the dance floor and in the second big heat all dancers together.

* In the final round in the first big heat there are maximum 3 dancers on the dance floor and in the second big heat all dancers together.

Coaches please consider this level is ONLY for dancers beginners. Dancers can have plain wear, but also stoned costumes, it depends on what they have. Adjudicators will not take into account the costume, they will focus on how the dancer show off on the dancefloor, AND of course the composition and technique.

RISING STAR - for more experienced dancers

In this level can be the dance floor (24m x 12m) splitted in two halfs, so the dancers are using the dance floor 12m x 12m.

The dancers are dancing in 2 big heats.

* The first big heat is 1 min, maximum 5 dancers on the dance floor.

* Second big heat is 1 min, max 15 dancers on the dance floor.

SUPERSTAR - not extraleague, but dancing is on higher level

The dancers are dancing in 2 big heats.

* The first big heat is 1 min, maximum 5 dancers on the dance floor.

* Second big heat is 1 min, max 15 dancers on the dance floor.
